CITY CENTRES
Due to traffic congestion, we do not offer a transfer service from either Glasgow or Edinburgh city centres, however we can still be easily accessed.
REMINDER:
During the Winter months (1st October 2023 to 1st April 2024) our office will close at 12noon on Saturdays and reopen at 8.30am on Mondays.
All Sunday rentals must start before 11.30am and return no later than 11am. No rentals will start or end on a Sunday unless by very special request.
Easiest options from Glasgow city centre
a) Train from Glasgow Queen Street station to Shettleston (journey time 15-minutes) then our transfer service or a private taxi/ uber
b) Private taxi/ uber from the city centre (journey time 20-minutes)
TRANSFERS
Clients are able to get a direct train to Shettleston train station where a transfer to branch or back is available at a cost of £10 each way per party.
Transfer is done in a small Minibus, silver in colour with Go Explore logos. Staff will usually have a sign with the client’s name.
The Depot is located:- 30mins from Glasgow Airport
- 45mins from Edinburgh Airport
- 10mins from Shettelston Train Station
